Who We Are
Wingshooters.net is a private enterprise owned and operated by Sean and Micki Jeffries.  The website's theme is "Celebrating the Sportsman's Way of Life".  You'll find timely news articles about hunting, guns, and conservation within our pages. 

At Wingshooters, we're not afraid to stand up and speak our mind about the things that we believe in.  We'll be up front and open with you.  We will say what we think.  Some of the things that we say might offend you.  We're not worried about that.  You don't have the right to not be offended.  Get that clear right now.  The United States Constitution does not guarantee you that you won't have your feelings hurt.  If getting offended is the worst thing that happens to you today, then I'd say you had a pretty good day.

You don't have to visit us.  We'll be here with or without you.  If you're bothered by what you find in these pages, there are thousands of other websites that will cater to you and bring you good little feelings.  If you'd like to bail out now, here's the door.

If you're still here, maybe you'll go the rest of the way with us.  Wingshooters is a Christian, conservative family oriented website.  We're the Wild at Heart kind of Christians.  We're not apologetic about our religion. 

The Contents of Wingshooters
There are several areas of interest on our website.  The left navigation frame is our "table of contents", from which you can easily select your destination.  When you first visit our site you will be automatically shown our "current news" page.  This area tells you what's going on in the world of hunting. 

Our news pages have a "comment" system that allow you to discuss the articles that you find on our site.  You must register a valid email address with us before you are allowed to post comments.  When making posts, please remember that we are family oriented, and we ask that you keep your language fairly clean.  We'll delete any comments that we find to be inappropriate. 

We keep track of all of our hunting adventures in the "Hunting Journals" section of the website.  Each journal encompasses and entire year of hunting, from January 2 to December 31.  January 1 is usually the closing day of our local deer seasons, so we include that day in the previous year's journal.

Below the hunting journals are more pages related to hunting.  Our trophy room can be found there, along with guest hunting pictures.  Registered users of Wingshooters may submit photos for our journals.  We'll review the photos, then post them for all to see.

The "Stories and Articles" section contains various short stories or magazine-style articles that we've written.  There's also an "Editorials" section on down the page a ways which has various commentaries posted by either Sean or Micki.

Like all good outdoor websites, we have a recipes section where we'll post some of our favorite ways to cook wild game.  There's a place called "Ask Wingshooters" where you can ask us your outdoor questions and we'll do our best to get you an answer.  The "Deer Harvest Records" show you a list of all the deer that Sean has taken in his life.

"The Library" is where you'll find out about the books that we are reading.
