The Dunking Parrot Chat Client is freeware.  You may install and run as many copies of the Dunking Parrot Chat Client as you like.  However, the shareware version of the server only allows 10 users to log on at any one time.  To allow more than 10 users to log on at once, you must purchase the appropriate registration key from us.  Once you decide to register, contact us at almanac@wingshooters.net for details on where to send payment.  Please be sure to download the shareware version above and try it out before you decide to buy.  Chat is an expensive piece of software, and we want you to be fully satisfied. 

The Chat Client does have two built in "operator" modes.   Mode 1 lets you simply kick users out of a channel or off the server completely.   Mode 2 lets you modify settings on the server from the client.  While Mode 1 is available free, to access the more powerful Mode 2, please add $25.00 to your order.  Remember to specify that you are paying for the operator mode activation key.

If you purchase a 25, 50, or 75 user license but later decide that you would like to activate Chat for more users, you may purchase a higher license simply by paying the difference between your original purchase and the price of the new desired level.  Please note that if prices go up between your first and second orders, you must pay the difference between the higher price and your original price.  For this reason, we highly recommend that you start with the unlimited mode license.
