Jax Dirty Soap

There are a great many scent control products for hunting on the market today.  There are soaps that promise to eliminate all human odor.  There are sprays and bottles, there are plastic tabs that you attach to your clothing.  With so many of these types of product available, it would seem the market is pretty full.  I have to admit, however, that I was quite intrigued when I first heard about Jax Dirty Soap. 

This is the first product I've seen that combines a cover scent with a bar soap.  The soaps on the market today are all targeted at scent elimination.  Jax Dirty Soap takes it a step further by adding a strong earth scent into the soap itself.  When you get your shower in the morning before you go deer hunting, simply use this stuff and you're already a step ahead of the other hunters when it comes to scent control.

The product comes in a fairly large sized bar.  It's kind of a mint green color, and it lathers up quite well, especially compared to some of the other hunting soaps that I have used.  Although I have not finished using my first bar yet, from the looks of things it appears that a bar will last you for a good long while.  The scent is strong enough to last for several hours on your body, and I have to be honest and tell you that I did kill a deer my first day out hunting after using this soap.

We're going to give this one a five star rating.  It's an innovative product, it's long lasting, super sized, and works as advertised.  The soap is marketed by a candle company in Clover, SC called "Jax Candles".  Now let's just hope that they'll start to offer a matching shampoo!
